Routine and Consistency

This simple idea is one of the most important! Being consistent in your ab workouts is crucial in order to lose belly fat. By keeping your body in a fat burning mode from your exercises, your body will continuously burn fat. Therefore, it’s very important that you find a way to stick to your workout schedule no matter what.

If you can’t seem to find the time, do a few a quick sets of ab exercises because something is better than nothing. This will help you stick to your routine and allow you to see consistent progress as you venture to get that streamline stomach.

Cardio Workouts

These types of workouts are the difference between getting a flat stomach compared to six pack abs. It is more important to do ab exercises that are high in the number of reps and low in resistance. Usually the resistance will be your body only. By doing cardio workouts your body will burn fat causing you to lose belly fat, which will make your body more streamline.

Staying Hydrated

In general you typically drink water only when you’re thirsty, but when working out it’s important to always stay hydrated. This means drinking a minimum of eight glasses of water a day. Staying hydrated keeps your muscles fresh. It allows quicker recovery times and gives the body more energy, because your body will have ample resources to use.
