In order to have a tight stomach, you must be keeping abs flexed at all times. This type of task will require you to continuously focus on your core for a while in order to get your body used to staying in an alert position.

There are two main techniques that must be used in order to get your six pack abs to stay flexed and close together. Remember that if you want to get a flat stomach that you are going to need to do these techniques too.

Exercises

The first technique is you will need to be doing core exercises. A great way to work on your mid section is to use the best ab exercises listed on this site. These ab exercises target your core in order to stimulate the best amount of muscle growth while assisting in losing the fat that surrounds the area.

Keep Abs Flexed And Close

The second technique is called static flexing. This is where you will be trying to keep your abs flexed for as long as possible. The body doesn’t naturally keep muscles flexed; instead its main goal is to relax. If you think about it, as you are reading this… is your stomach flexed or relaxed? Most likely, it is relaxed. So how do you get your abs to stay together?

The only way to get them solid is to keep your core flexed. Take a moment now and flex your core. Hold it for as long as possible. You might be surprised that you can’t hold it for a long period of time. With practice this time will become longer and longer and eventually your body will naturally be keeping abs flexed.

Every time it crosses your mind that your abs aren’t flexed, flex them and keep on going with your day until you realize that they aren’t. Then repeat keeping abs flexed. Eventually you will get there and you will have a great tone core where your abs will stay close to your body!
